Instead of a modal feedback element (e.g. after executing a scheduled task) which gets in the way and needs to be closed, it would be nice just to have a line under the menu to display the text so that it doesn't in the way.

    Any chance you could provide an annotated screenshot of what you're describing? I'm not sure I visualize what you're suggesting here.

    Please see current vs a horrible looking version of what's suggested. Hopefully enough of an idea to show you what I mean though

    Can you let me know what the current modal window typically blocks for you? The shortcuts? Would moving it a few pixels below so it doesn't block the top bar work for you?

    It does block the shortcuts, which is one pain point and in some cases, moving it down would be helpful. However, just moving it down doesn't address everything as it also blocks lines that I need to see....
