is safe to change the ssh default port from 22 to e.g. 222 or something else? If something don't go fine, is still possible to access the istance trought the scalr ssh or something else?

For the second: is possible and safe upgrade/upgdate (apt-.get update) the istances or I risk that the traps don't works?

After you change SSH port (and prior to synchronize), you should update your role config so Scalr will be still able to connect your instances via SSH.

If anything will go wrong, you will be able to download private key for your farm (from Farms view page) and connect to it using other SSH client than mindterm (Scalr SSH page).

While upgrading you should look snmptrapd, snmpd, ssh are reachable by Scalr. If these conditions are met, no problems should be encountered. Anyway, if an instance after synchronize will be broken (won't finish initializing), Scalr will not replace your instances, you will be able to continue working on your instances to get them bundling correctly.
