Hi,

in the Farm 14314 i tried to create a server snapshot from the server with id: aaeb1d30-c157-4aa4-8f21-77e44ac2c4ea

But it has been stuck in "Creating role" status for hours, and I can neither Retry nor Cancel it.

Can you have a look at it? I can't launch new servers without creating the snapshot.

Thanks.

    To understand this issue:
Have you upgraded this server from Ubuntu 12.04 to 14.04?

Yes, we upgraded it to 14.04 and now we want this to be the base image for the new servers.

Role is bounded to specific OS version, and your bundle task failed because of this.
We've updated OS setting for this particular role. Next bundle task will succeed.

Do you have any other servers like this?

    Hi,

just tried and it is working correctly right now. Thanks!! For the moment, we don't have more servers to upgrade.

So, one question. If I want to upgrade one role to a new version of Ubuntu, is it better to create a new role with this new version or upgrade an existent role?

    Thanks.

It's better to start from a new role, cause you'll get the same problem either.

    Regards,
    Marat
