    This volume was attached manually?

By default volumes no being detached during reboot. Also, by default scalr attach mysql master volume to /dev/sdo .

Anyway I've mounted this volume manually and started mysql daemon. Everything should be okay.

Igor- I had a tech before I took over this farm and I think he may have an attachment script running on boot. I will check this and make sure its removed.

Can you explain the steps you took to attached correctly so I can do it in the future.

    Thanks again for your help.

    Hi Ryan,

We've attached the volume by hands on the instance (via command line) and mounted it.
I'm pretty sure you won't require to do this in the future, but anyway. You should attach the master volume to /dev/sdo and mount it to /mnt.
    Regards,
    Nick
